Air Fryer Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

I recently got an air fryer so I have been experimenting with different recipes. I was advised to give brussel sprouts a try. I do think brussel sprouts get a bad rap, but I will say I am still not a mega fan.

Even if you do not like brussel sprouts, I would advise you to try them in the air fryer! They were legitimately addictive! The edges are crispy and the insides are soft. The balsamic adds some sweetness, the lemon some tang, it is the perfect side dish or snack.

Next time you are at the grocery store, grab some brussel sprouts and give this recipe a chance because it is certainly worth gossiping about!

Air Fryer Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

Yield: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg brussel sprouts
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Salt/pepper, to taste
Balsamic syrup (optional)
Squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. To prepare the brussel sprouts, rinse, cut off the small core and half the sprouts. Make sure you keep all the extra leaves that fall off- they get the crispiest.
2. In a bowl, mix the brussel sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
3. Place the sprouts in a single layer in your air fryer.
4. Set the air fryer at 390-degrees for 15-20 minutes until the brussel sprouts are crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
5. Before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze and a squeeze of lemon juice. Enjoy!
